Greenville Email Marketing
How long has it been since you reviewed your emails that your send out to your customers?
A few months? Has it been 12 months, longer?
NEVER?
Now is the time for a review, because although it is not the latest technology, Emails are still extremely effective. That hasn’t changed. But the way to utilize them and the way they are viewed, has.
The big change is due to mobile devices. Currently over 50% your e-mails are currently being viewed on a cellular phone rather than a regular PC and this trend will continue to grow! Combine this with the fact that all of us are bombarded by so many emails, we all have to choose carefully on which e-mails are opened and seen.
Are you doing anything about this? For most companies, the answer is no. Now, all most businesses do is put out “here’s what we’re doing now or here’s our feature of the week” e-mails. No wonder most of the people on e-mail lists like this ultimately back out or stop opening their emails.
We’ll take a quick look on the way to get your email marketing current.
To maintain, grow and profit from your list, all it takes is a little creativeness. Ask if your consumer would be attracted by your e-mail and its title. Like all marketing, it needs to have benefit to them, not another feature of the business. For your purchaser to open your emails, you must think like your clients and ask WIIFM “What’s in it for me!
So here are some ways to benefit from Greenville Email Marketing
What if your business has a list of services? Although you believe your clients know all the things that you do, they don’t.
You could send out this list with an offer or promotion on new services. They could print and have available at any point.
*Some email filters can block attachments so it would also be a smart idea to list the contents inside the email also. When sending attachments of any sort, realize your open rates will be less because some people are hesitant to open any e-mails with attachments. This method is best on after 1 or 2 emails and your customers trust you.
2. Offer polls.
Everybody likes to offer their opinion. E-mail can be set up to have your clients vote on a poll of your preference by clicking a straightforward tab. You then use the info to your advantage
3. Offer Surveys
Similar to above but in more detail. Thinking about starting a new product or service. Why not learn if your customers really need it and would really use it?
4. Offer contests
What if you sent out an email with a telephone number that when they called went to a recorded message describing the challenge. They listened to the message about your new service or product first and then were entered in the contest. You had a drawing for the winner of all who called.
5. Refer new customers
Are you offering incentives to your present purchasers if they refer you new business.
6. Video e-mails
Are you offering links in your email to your videos? A lot of people would prefer video over text.
7. Send promotion codes
If you sell online, you probably have the capacity to accept promotional codes for special discounts. Use these and watch sale explode.
8. Consider that your e-mail will be read on a cell phone.
Try to keep it straightforward and short and to the point.
These are just a few suggestions, remember with a little creativeness e-mail selling is still very powerful.
I hope these quick tips are useful. Good luck on your next email.
